Looking for two energetic and motivated people interested in beef cattle. Practice provides herd health and production services, regulatory and emergency services and research to beef feedlots and one large lamb feedlot. DVM required. Experience in beef cattle, post-graduate work in epidemiology, nutrition, or food animal medicine is an asset. Must be eligible to be licensed to practice in Alberta i.e. passed NAVLE (North American Veterinary Licensing Exam). Vet will be provided with a practice office including computer, vet truck, all required equipment, and work cell phone. ABHS offers a complete benefits package and covers CE expenses.
The vet will be working with two other associate veterinarians, two research technicians, an AHT and an office manager. There are no night calls but the vet will be rotated through a weekend call schedule with the other veterinarians and technicians. ABHS offers a friendly work environment including staff and clients. It is close to Lethbridge which has all amenities including the university, college, hospital, airport, shopping and mountains for other entertainment.
